Account & Financial Data Deletion
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policy, GDPR (Art. 17), and CCPA/CPRA, Mirror users can delete their accounts and all associated data at any time.
⚡ Method 1: Instant In-App Data Wipe (No Waiting)
If you are using Mirror on your Android device (Guest mode or logged in), you can instantly purge all stored receipts, goals, financial logs, and twin parameters directly:
- Open the Mirror app on your Android device.
- Tap the Menu / Settings icon in the top header.
- Select Preferences & Privacy.
- Scroll down and tap "Wipe All Local & Cloud Data".
- Confirm the prompt. All SQLite records, cached receipt scans, and simulation weights are permanently erased immediately.
✉️ Method 2: Request Cloud Deletion Online
If you uninstalled the app or wish to ensure all server-side backups, email registrations, or associated records are purged from our cloud systems, submit this request:
What Happens After Deletion?
- Deleted immediately: Profile name, email, transaction logs, receipt OCR scans, digital twin states, simulation scenarios, and wealth circle memberships.
- Data Retention Policy: We do not retain residual copies in secondary backup tapes beyond 14 days of an approved request.
- Zero Recovery: Once purged, your digital twin cannot be restored. You may start a fresh profile at any time.
